Educational Qualification:

The specialist must have a graduate degree in agriculture, economics, rural development orother relevant fields

Work Experience:

With at least 10 years of demonstrated knowledge and experience in agricultural marketing and supply chain.

Job Description:

  1. The consultant will work closely with the international consultant. The specific tasks of this consultant, but not limited to, are asfollows:
  2. design the survey for representative data collection on the selected crops
  3. lead the primary data collection on the selected crop and carryout the preliminaryanalysis;
  4. lead the collection of information on the availability of agri-logistics andinfrastructure like cold storage facilities, transportation, packaging, etc.;
  5. lead the collection of information on price and cost of selected crops at differentsegments of the value chain;
  6. report on the progress of TA activities to ADB and relevant DMC project offices;and other activities as deemed necessary to successfully conduct this study
