JOB BRIEF

  • We are looking for a responsible Coordinator who will work closely with the Executive Director to coordinate and perform a wide variety of administrative and secretarial activities.
  • To ensure success, Coordinator should be organized, have superb research skills and must be an exceptional communicator with a keen interest in providing proper social media coverage.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Develop innovative and creative media content across social media platforms
  • Create and maintain relevant social media accounts
  • Set up daily tasks and activity for all social media outlets
  • Create a regular publishing schedule and promote content through social advertising.
  • Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns.
  • Provision of confidential secretarial and administrative support for the principal executive
  • Keep track of social media trends and competition
  • Coordinate and facilitate the ongoing internal and external public relations and communication activities
  • Integrate all channels of marketing (social media, content marketing, email, print and digital marketing)
  • You will also travel with Executive Director to coordinate the activities
  • Accompany Official visits and meetings/record meetings of the minutes
  • Aptitude to manage media relations and maximize media opportunities
  • Develop strong relationships with media representatives
  • Maintaining and updating information on the organization’s website and social sites such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to exercise good judgment and solve problems quickly and effectively
  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists and media key persons that will help advance our work
  • Fluent English language skills (spoken and written).
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Computer literate; experience working with data bases strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and business communication software.
  • An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans
