Job Description

  • Ensure that line management is updated with the latest information on key developments in the Health component of the program.
  • Ensure all the objectives along with indicators as outlined in the project proposal are met while ensuring high quality.
  • Take full responsibility for the Quarterly Biannually and annual reports. Prepare budgets and regularly update them, take approval as per organizational procedures.
  • Include community participation in all project work, wherever practicable, and seek to develop and incorporate community-friendly methodologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of public health programs, specially CMW and Child Heath.
  • Develop Health plans and responsible to implement project activities as per project plan.
  • Actively coordinate with M&E Specialist to ensure that appropriate monitoring and impact assessment mechanisms and tools are being implemented within the Health component.
  • Participate as appropriate in assessments and responses in the case of humanitarian emergencies.
  • Promotes preventive health practices and early intervention.
  • Develops and implements a system of continuous monitoring and evaluation of health activities.
  • Serves on program self-assessment teams.
  • Attends regularly scheduled staff meetings reporting accomplishments and areas of weakness, and makes recommendations for corrective action to the executive director.
  • Works cooperatively with other component specialists to keep abreast of program directions and
  •  Coordinate a unified program effort.
  • Performs any other tasks deemed necessary by Supervisor.
  • Monitors programs to assure that all needed follow-up services are provided.
  • Carries out the goals, policies, and activities designed to implement the health objectives set.
