Responsibilities

  • Prototype development in Tableau
  • Leverage full range of Tableau platform technologies to design and implement proof of concept solutions and create advanced BI visualizations
  • Analyze existing complex systems to understand and document data elements, relationships, data flow, dependencies and related interfaces
  • Gather customer business and technical requirements and write high-quality technical documents
  • Participate in a wide variety of business intelligence efforts, including the development and support of internal applications and helping to administer the Tableau infrastructure
  • Support multi environment Tableau infrastructure including server security, troubleshooting and general system maintenance
  • Interact with Business users and understanding their requirements
  • Developing, designing and supporting interactive Tableau dashboard reports
  • Recommending dashboards per Tableau visualization features
  • Delivering reports to business team on timely manner

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (computer science, statistics or related)
  • Core Tableau experience of at least 2 years
  • Proficient in all functions of Tableau and how to visually present them into various objects
  • Detail-oriented with experience working with large datasets
  • Extensive experience working with Business Intelligence data visualization tools with specialization on Tableau
  • Experience in SQL - displaying ability to write and understand complex queries
  • Able to work directly with end users to ensure results meet their needs
