Responsibilities
- Prototype development in Tableau
- Leverage full range of Tableau platform technologies to design and implement proof of concept solutions and create advanced BI visualizations
- Analyze existing complex systems to understand and document data elements, relationships, data flow, dependencies and related interfaces
- Gather customer business and technical requirements and write high-quality technical documents
- Participate in a wide variety of business intelligence efforts, including the development and support of internal applications and helping to administer the Tableau infrastructure
- Support multi environment Tableau infrastructure including server security, troubleshooting and general system maintenance
- Interact with Business users and understanding their requirements
- Developing, designing and supporting interactive Tableau dashboard reports
- Recommending dashboards per Tableau visualization features
- Delivering reports to business team on timely manner
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (computer science, statistics or related)
- Core Tableau experience of at least 2 years
- Proficient in all functions of Tableau and how to visually present them into various objects
- Detail-oriented with experience working with large datasets
- Extensive experience working with Business Intelligence data visualization tools with specialization on Tableau
- Experience in SQL - displaying ability to write and understand complex queries
- Able to work directly with end users to ensure results meet their needs
