A civil Engineer's job is to ensure projects run smoothly and their completed within budget and on time and is capable to manage and execute small to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely, and sustainable manner.
Responsibilities:
- Supervising preparation of offers against tenders/inquiries from the client.
- Capable to manage and execute small to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner.
- Should be able to conduct technical and commercial negotiation with the clients
- Assessing potential risks, materials and costs
- Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other)
- Capable of providing advice and resolve any emerging problems/deficiencies
- Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders
- Ensuring projects run smoothly and their completion within budget and on time
