Prime Human Resource Services (Pvt) Ltd is seeking dedicated and responsible individuals to join as Fuel Fillers at our Gulzar-e-Hijri, Karachi location. The role involves accurately and safely dispensing fuel to customers while ensuring compliance with safety standards and procedures. Candidates must operate efficiently during 12-hour rotational shifts, maintain a clean work environment, and provide excellent customer assistance throughout their service.
As a Fuel Filler, you will be the frontline representative of the company, responsible for handling hazardous materials, performing cash transactions accurately, and upholding safety compliance measures meticulously. This position demands attention to detail, adherence to operational protocols, and a proactive approach in managing on-site safety and customer satisfaction. Although this role does not include team management, collaboration and communication with colleagues and supervisors are essential for smooth station operations.
Responsibilities
- Dispense fuel accurately and safely to vehicles using proper fuel dispensing methods and equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety compliance standards and hazardous material handling procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist customers by providing friendly guidance and answering their queries related to fuel types and usage procedures.
- Perform cash handling duties carefully, ensuring accurate processing of fuel sales transactions and maintaining proper records of sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fuel station area, including fuel pumps, surrounding grounds, and customer service spaces to uphold hygiene and safety standards.
- Monitor fuel inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies promptly to management for timely replenishment.
- Conduct routine checks on dispensing equipment to identify and report any malfunctions or safety issues to maintenance teams.
- Comply with all company policies, local regulations, and environmental guidelines related to fuel storage, handling, and dispensing activities.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to any emergency situations, including fuel spills or leaks, following established safety protocols.
- Participate in training sessions and safety drills to enhance knowledge of safety measures and fuel dispensing best practices.
