System Administrator

We are looking to add a professional, personable, and passionate individual to our team as an IT System Administrator. This position requires a highly flexible individual that loves interacting with a variety of people and technologies on a daily basis. System Admins are expected to have expertise in server administration, asterisk, vicidial level 3 support,security, data center support, and operational challenges. Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain telephony and database servers, top to bottom, at all facilities
Manage ordering servers, deployment with security implementation.
Take backup of servers and maintain archive servers.
Maintain and improve assigned servers based on the requirements of the company.
Provide Level 3-support to customers to resolve network or voice problem when needed
Install and configure appropriate software to monitor server performance
Ensure security and privacy of networks and servers systems
Organize and schedule maintenance without deterring others from completing their work
Diagnose and resolve problems via thorough analysis and troubleshooting. Exercise discretion and independent judgment to implement solutions
Track issues to resolution and update tickets as needed.
Perform work as requested by the Server Manager and other related departments.

Requirements:

Specific Minimum Requirements:
4-year college degree or equivalent work experience
Demonstrable knowledge of VOIP servers and networks.
Customer service and performance driven
In-depth knowledge of Server skills, network basics,database and scripting
Also able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language intermediate to proficient level.
Possess the ability to make independent decisions and exercise discretion and judgment
Possess the ability to interact respectfully and professionally with personnel, customers and vendors. Able to be calm and level-headed in emergencies
Well groomed, professionally dressed, professional demeanor, and possess the ability to work harmoniously with others inside and outside the department
Willing and able to seek out new skills and techniques to increase proficiency and to incorporate them into existing practices
Knowledgeable in the use of computers, networks, e-mail and spreadsheets

A preferred candidate will possess some or all of the following:

Redhat certified, Network+ or Security+ certification or training.
Experience with Asterisk phone systems
Experience with vicidial system
Experience with MySQL database
