We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Merchandising & Product Operations Specialist to join our team in Karachi. This role is crucial in shaping the in-app storefront by combining ownership of merchandising execution with operational excellence to deliver a seamless and conversion-driven user journey.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the in-app storefront, including the homepage, category landing pages, carousels, and other key areas, ensuring timely and accurate content deployment through merchandising tools. Configure, manage, and optimize merchandising setups, applying basic coding knowledge to troubleshoot and implement solutions. Develop and continuously refine merchandising strategies aligned with business goals and customer insights. Execute promotional plans and maintain the merchandising calendar to ensure smooth campaign rollouts. Analyze user behavior, product performance, and merchandising metrics to guide improvements in product discovery, engagement, and conversion rates. Track post-launch performance and iterate strategies for scalability based on data-driven insights. Collaborate closely with Category Management, Marketing, Catalog, and Design teams to coordinate campaigns and product launches. Act as a liaison across Growth, Category, and Product teams to ensure alignment on merchandising and content updates. Lead the configuration and synchronization of in-app content for consistency across platforms, ensuring timely setup of feature and product releases. Monitor tool performance, identify inefficiencies, and drive continuous process improvements. Independently manage multiple projects, including campaign setups and product releases, while ensuring effective cross-functional coordination. Develop documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for merchandising workflows and content governance. Utilize customer feedback and market research to identify new merchandising opportunities and enhance app usability and discoverability.
Required Qualifications
Experience in e-commerce or retail environments is essential. Basic coding knowledge is required to support content configuration and troubleshoot merchandising tools. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration and feedback sharing across teams. Analytical ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable improvements is critical. Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously are expected. A proactive problem-solving approach and attention to detail in monitoring performance and executing processes are key. A customer-centric mindset focused on enhancing user satisfaction through product features is important. Understanding of quality assurance processes to maintain high standards and promptly address issues is required.
