The Merchandising & Product Operations Specialist will play a vital role in shaping the in-app storefront, ensuring a seamless, engaging, and conversion-focused user journey through precise merchandising execution and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the in-app storefront, including the homepage, category landing pages, carousels, and other key placements, taking full ownership of content configuration and execution using merchandising tools to ensure timely and accurate deployment. Utilize basic coding skills to configure and troubleshoot merchandising setups effectively. Curate, implement, and continuously refine merchandising strategies aligned with business goals and customer insights. Oversee the execution of promotional plans and maintain the merchandising calendar to ensure smooth operations.

Analyze user behavior, product performance, and merchandising metrics to drive in-app improvements that enhance product discovery, engagement, and conversion rates. Track post-launch performance and iterate strategies for scalability based on data-driven insights. Collaborate closely with Category Management, Marketing, Catalog, and Design teams to coordinate impactful campaigns and product launches. Serve as the primary liaison among Growth, Category, and Product teams to ensure alignment on merchandising and product content updates.

Lead the configuration and synchronization of in-app content across platforms, ensuring consistency and timely setup of feature and product releases. Monitor tool performance, identify inefficiencies, and drive continuous process optimization. Independently manage multiple projects, including campaign setups and product releases, while ensuring effective cross-functional coordination. Develop documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for merchandising workflows and content governance. Leverage customer feedback and market research to identify new merchandising opportunities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance app usability and product discoverability.

Required Qualifications

Experience in e-commerce or retail environments is essential. Basic coding knowledge is required to support content configuration and troubleshooting. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration and feedback sharing across teams. Analytical ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable improvements is critical. Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously are expected. A proactive problem-solving mindset and a collaborative approach to resolving issues are important. High attention to detail in monitoring performance, analyzing data, and executing processes is required. A customer-centric mindset focused on enhancing user satisfaction through informed decision-making is vital. Knowledge of quality assurance processes to maintain output standards and promptly address issues is also necessary. Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product management and operations is highly valued.
