Within this innovative startup-within-a-startup environment, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Merchandising & Product Operations Specialist to take ownership of the in-app storefront experience. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless, engaging, and conversion-driven user journey while ensuring operational excellence and effective merchandising execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the in-app storefront, including the homepage, category landing pages, carousels, and other prime real estate, ensuring timely and accurate content configuration using merchandising tools.
- Develop, implement, and continuously refine merchandising strategies that align with business goals and customer insights.
- Oversee promotional plans and merchandising calendars to ensure smooth and timely campaign rollouts.
- Analyze user behavior, product performance, and merchandising metrics to drive data-informed improvements that enhance product discovery, engagement, and conversion rates.
- Monitor post-launch performance and iterate strategies to scale successful initiatives based on analytical insights.
- Collaborate closely with Category Management, Marketing, Catalog, and Design teams to coordinate campaigns and product launches.
- Serve as a liaison between Growth, Category, and Product teams to maintain alignment on merchandising and product content updates.
- Lead the configuration and synchronization of in-app content to ensure consistency across platforms.
- Identify inefficiencies in merchandising tools and processes, driving continuous optimization efforts.
- Independently manage multiple projects, including campaign setups and product releases, while ensuring effective cross-functional coordination.
- Create and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for merchandising workflows and content governance.
- Utilize customer feedback and market research to uncover new merchandising opportunities and improve app usability and discoverability.

Required Qualifications

- Experience working in e-commerce or retail environments.
- Basic coding skills to support content configuration and troubleshoot merchandising tools efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively and share feedback across teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and extract actionable insights for ongoing improvement.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills to juggle multiple initiatives, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities with attention to detail in monitoring performance and executing processes.
- Customer-focused approach aimed at enhancing user satisfaction through product features.
- Understanding of quality assurance processes to maintain high standards and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product management and operations.
