Production Head

The Production Head will be responsible for managing the entire production process within a textile and apparel manufacturing setting, focusing on sportswear, gym wear, beachwear, and fashion wear. This role requires a seasoned professional with strong leadership skills and deep industry knowledge to ensure that orders are completed on time while maintaining high-quality standards. The Production Head will coordinate multiple teams and resources to meet production goals efficiently, minimize costs, and reduce waste, driving overall operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise all production departments, including Cutting, Stitching, Finishing, and Packing. Plan, schedule, and monitor daily and weekly production targets to ensure orders are fulfilled according to the Time & Action (T&A) plan. Optimize manpower, machinery, and workflow processes to maximize productivity. Collaborate closely with Merchandising, Planning, Quality Control (QC), and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations. Maintain strict quality standards with an emphasis on achieving zero major defects. Identify bottlenecks in production and implement corrective actions to enhance efficiency. Work continuously to reduce wastage, rework, and operational costs through process improvements. Prepare and present daily and weekly production reports for management review. Oversee machine maintenance schedules to avoid production interruptions. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures. Train, mentor, and guide production staff and supervisors to develop a skilled and motivated workforce.

Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory. Candidates must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a Production Head role within the textile or apparel manufacturing industry. Proven expertise in managing production processes specifically for sportswear, gym wear, beachwear, or fashion wear is essential. Strong leadership and team management capabilities are required. Candidates should possess in-depth knowledge of production planning, quality control, and operational efficiency. The ability to work on-site in Karachi is necessary.
