Duties and Responsibilities:
- Extensive working knowledge of hybrid cloud and cloud management architectures
- Broad and deep experience with technologies like Red Hat OpenStack Platform, Red Hat Virtualization, VMware vSphere, and Microsoft Hyper-V
- Expertise in virtualization solutions like VMware vSphere, and Microsoft Hyper-V and azure solutions.
- Experience in NFVi and MANO
- Practical experience with Linux operating systems and in-depth knowledge of red hat OS.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities
- Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills; ability to convey complex information to a range of stakeholders clearly and concisely
- Affinity for programming languages
- Good understanding of public cloud functionality of technologies like Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; extensive experience in creating quality documents and confidently presenting to project stakeholders
- Passion for open source, software, tooling, and automation
- Ability to work as part of a team; creative, positive, and innovative mindset. Contribute internally to the team, share knowledge and best practices with team members, contribute to internal projects and initiatives, and serve as a subject matter expert.
- 1+ 1+ years of experience focused on cloud environments, their supporting infrastructures and delivery of cloud software solutions
- 5+ years of experience as a support or development engineer for virtualization or cloud technologies on Linux
- Advanced technical understanding of application and server virtualization, cloud infrastructure markets, and competitive offerings
- Direct experience with a variety of hardware vendors
- Knowledge of software defined networking (SDN), virtual switch, virtual router, LB/VPN/Firewall, etc.will be a plus.
- Eager to learn new cloud-related technologies and skills
- Willingness to travel up to 70%
