Responsibilities

  1. Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance to our clients. You will help install, upgrade and troubleshoot hardware and software systems
  2. Industry-specific certification in relevant computer languages or software may be required 1-3 years of proven experience in a heavy customer focus position involving and technical knowledge of a companies' products and services
  3. Time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution.
  4. Comfortable working in and assisting others through company help desk software, such as Zendesk in addition to other remote access desktop programs
  5. Accept constructive criticism and customer feedback regarding their experience with software or IT services.
  6. Extensive experience working with different operating systems including Windows and Network.
  7. Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently
  8. Professional written and interpersonal skills are essential when communicating with customers and clients. Experience installing and configuring computer systems and applications for a large company.
  9. Ultimately, you will ensure prompt and accurate customer service and increase client satisfaction with Good Communication

Qualification & Experience

  1. Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
  2. For L1 engineer, 1~3 years of experience in System administration.

Knowledge & Skills

  1. Address user tickets regarding hardware, software and networking
  2. Walk customers through installing applications and computer peripherals
  3. Ask targeted questions to diagnose problems
  4. Guide users with simple, step-by-step instructions
  5. Conduct remote troubleshooting
  6. Test alternative pathways until you resolve an issue
  7. Customize desktop applications to meet user needs
  8. Record technical issues and solutions in logs
  9. Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  10. Follow up with clients to ensure their systems are functional
  11. Report customer feedback and potential product requests
  12. Help create technical documentation and manualsHands-on experience in managing web servers (Apache, Tomcat, JBoss).
  13. Good working knowledge of implementation of SSL Certificates
  14. Strong knowledge of performance management and capacity planning
  15. ITIL Knowledge (Incident /Problem /Change Management)
  16. Experience in scripting bash, Perl, or Python, etc.
