Professional Employers (Pvt) Ltd is hiring an experienced and customer-focused Order Taker to join our team. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, strong communication skills, and hands-on experience with POS and order management systems. Key responsibilities include taking and processing customer orders accurately, assisting customers with menu and pricing details, handling transactions, and ensuring excellent service in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should be detail-oriented, able to multitask efficiently, and work independently to support smooth daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Answer customer inquiries about menu items, ingredients, pricing, and specials with accuracy and clarity.
- Process customer orders efficiently using the point of sale system and order management software.
- Ensure accurate entry of order details to prevent mistakes and ensure prompt service delivery.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer needs promptly and courteously.
- Maintain knowledge of menu updates and pricing changes to inform customers effectively.
- Handle customer concerns or complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.
- Troubleshoot minor technical issues with POS systems and order management software to minimize service disruptions.
- Verify payment transactions and manage cash or electronic payment procedures securely.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other departments to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the ordering station and POS area.
- Record and report any recurring issues or feedback to management for process improvement.
- Comply with company policies, health and safety guidelines, and quality standards.
