Professional Employers (Pvt) Ltd is looking for a WTG Technical Engineer with a Bachelor’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in wind energy or industrial maintenance. The role involves troubleshooting and maintaining wind turbine systems including gearbox, generator, pitch, yaw, brake, and cooling systems. The candidate must ensure safe operations, accurate fault reporting, and detailed maintenance documentation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential to support reliable turbine performance and sustainable energy production.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspection and preventive maintenance of wind turbines
- Conduct troubleshooting and repair of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
- Monitor SCADA system data to identify faults and performance issues
- Maintain gearbox, generator, pitch, yaw, brake, and cooling systems
- Execute scheduled maintenance including lubrication, torque checks, and filter replacement
- Diagnose issues in converters, sensors, control systems, and blade systems
- Ensure maximum turbine availability and minimize downtime
- Maintain maintenance logs, service reports, and fault records
- Manage spare parts, tools, and maintenance equipment inventory
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
- Analyze turbine performance and support continuous improvement activities
- Hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic systems
- Familiarity with wind turbine operations and SCADA systems preferred
