• Ensure full compliance of established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) through team in letter and spirit.
  • Facilitate audits by ensuring teams’ involvement with auditors while achieving zero nonconformities and observations.
  • Address nonconformities and observations (if any) to settle before compilation and submission of audit report.
  • Apply industrial engineering concept such as man machine ratio, time motion studies, line balancing etc. to calculate accurate inhouse production capacities.
  •  Conduct similar analysis at out sourced vendors as well to calculate their accurate production capacities while helping them improve their layouts and capacities.
  • Periodically review above mentioned calculation to audit capacity compliance and take corrective actions accordingly.
  • Critically evaluate current layouts of inhouse production as well as outsourced vendors to identify potential inefficiencies and MODA wastages and accordingly take corrective actions with the approval of Head Supply Chain Operations.
  • Plan and allocate materials and production capacity/hours for the development of approved prototypes as requested by the research & design department.
  • Ensure full compliance of plans for prototype development through W.I.P Coordinator to ensure on-time development of prototypes.
  • Take daily, weekly, and monthly stock status reports from Store.
  • Perform analytics of stock movement to identify fast-moving and slow-moving stock items and accordingly plan future procurement.
  • Prepare a report of dead stock and present to Head Supply Chain Operations for review and decision.
  • Take into account all projections as per SOP and prepare material planning for month and quarter and present Head Supply Chain Operations for review and approval.  
  • Prepare purchase demands as per approved material planning and follow up with procurement department for timely availability of required materials.
  • Provide support to BD staff in calculating approximate range of pricing for customer orders from time to time.
  •  Update price lists fortnightly / as required for the consumption of retails sales staff.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimation for all sales orders.
  • Prioritize orders and allocate production capacities (inhouse as well as outsourced vendors) to individual sale orders.
  • Prepare accurate production schedule and seek approval from Head Supply Chain Operations.
  • Ensure clear and effective communication of all production schedule to all concern.
  •  Allocate order to machines, workgroups, and vendors as per SOP defined.
  • Mobilize W.I.P Coordinators to track compliance of all production schedules (inhouse and vendors).
  • Approve all material requisitions as per given plan.
  • Timely take corrective actions to mitigate time loses at any supply chain step.
  • Ensure clear and effective communication in relations to any delays beyond human control to all concern well in advance.
  • Plan entire finished goods movement which includes movements to & From vendors, factory warehouse, regional warehouse and customers.
  • Give necessary instruction w.r.t to the arrangement of logistics to all concerns.
  • Follow up effectively with all concerned to get all movement is done on time.
  • Acquire actual costs sale order wise from accounts department and prepare variance reports.
  • Present variance reports to Head Supply Chain Operations and Chief Executive Officer with critical analysis and explanatory remarks thereon.
  • Conduct quarterly meetings for setting/reviewing / revising KPIs and KRAs of the direct reporting staff. As well as conduct time to time performance monitoring sessions (as & when required)
  • Perform Performance evaluations of the immediate staff on a quarterly basis.
  • Ensure Proper Training & Development of the Staff wherever & whenever needed through performance appraisal and training need analysis.
  • Developing department staff through formal and informal coaching, counseling & mentoring sessions and ensure staff retention.
  • Succession Planning: Develop a successor of himself as well as successors of his immediate subordinates.
  • Coordinate with the HR department, whenever Manpower is required in PPC sub-divisions or departmental organogram needs any change.
  • Do a second (technical) selection interview of staff needed to be hired in reporting divisions.
