Profyd is seeking a dedicated Online Teaching professional to deliver high-quality educational experiences to students in a virtual environment. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelors or Masters degree in a related field and possesses a strong command of the English language, paired with excellent communication and teaching skills. This role emphasizes the ability to simplify complex Physics concepts in a clear and engaging manner to facilitate student understanding. Candidates with experience in online teaching, remote tutoring, or traditional classroom settings are highly preferred, as they bring valuable insights into effective virtual instruction. The position requires proficiency in managing online classrooms and utilizing various educational technology tools such as Learning Management Systems, interactive learning platforms, and video conferencing software including Zoom and Microsoft Teams. The successful applicant demonstrates strong time management capabilities to balance lesson planning, student engagement, and assessment responsibilities within a remote teaching framework. While the role does not involve managing a team, it requires the educator to independently foster a supportive and interactive learning environment that enhances student success and motivation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver engaging physics lessons using online teaching platforms and interactive learning tools to enhance student comprehension and participation.
- Manage virtual classrooms effectively by maintaining student discipline, encouraging active participation, and creating an inclusive digital learning space.
- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to organize course materials, assign and collect homework, and monitor student progress consistently.
- Incorporate educational technology solutions and interactive tools to support diverse learning styles and make complex physics concepts accessible.
- Conduct regular assessments and provide timely, constructive feedback to support continuous student improvement and academic achievement.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with students to address questions, clarify difficult topics, and promote a positive learning atmosphere.
- Track and report student attendance and performance using time tracking and assessment tools to ensure accountability and transparency in the learning process.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the individual needs of students and to accommodate changes in curriculum or technology.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in physics education and online teaching best practices to continually enhance instructional effectiveness.
- Manage time efficiently to balance lesson preparation, live class sessions, grading, and student support within scheduled work hours.
