We are looking for WordPress Developer to design effective and user-friendly websites. The candidate should have an extensive knowledge and experience of building Word-Press and hands on using or developing plugins.
Responsibilities:
- Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture
- Managing all technical aspects of the CMS (WordPress)
- Gather requirements from the design team and translate them into easy-to-use and functional solutions
- Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
- Write efficient, robust and reusable code while adhering to WordPress coding standards.
- Creation of custom post types and theme/template integration.
- Install, test and debug WordPress plugins, and create WordPress plugins as needed to conform to WordPress coding structure.
- Contribute to cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent display in major supported browsers on Mac, PC, iOS and Android..
- Provide ongoing support and enhancements to the website after completion
Must Have:
- Experience in WordPress, SQL & various open source frameworks,
- Knowledge of existing inbuilt Word-Press functions and custom theme development
- Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Use of Google AdWords
- Knowledge of Word-Press Network (Multisite) will be beneficial.
- Understanding of PHP back-end development with SQL
- Good understanding of Cross-platform and Cross-browser issues.
- Experience with creating responsive websites is a must.
- Strong grip of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, bootstrap
- Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages.
- Excellent communication, self-motivator, ability to solve complex problems, design & requirements documentation.
