Project Manager – Civil Estimation & Client Relations (US Projects)

We are looking for a skilled Civil Estimator to join our team, specializing in civil and infrastructure projects that adhere to US construction pricing standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQs), and material take-offs with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance with project specifications. This role requires close collaboration with clients and internal teams to ensure precise project costing and to support business development activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare comprehensive cost estimates, BOQs, and material take-offs for civil and infrastructure projects following US construction pricing standards.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents thoroughly to produce accurate and complete project costings.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables effectively to meet established goals.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients via calls, emails, and virtual meetings to explain proposals, resolve queries, and promote collaboration.
- Work closely with internal teams such as Design, Procurement, and Execution to ensure project alignment and smooth delivery.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about current US construction material and labor rates.
- Prepare and present detailed project reports, proposals, and cost breakdowns to management and clients.
- Support business development by identifying potential clients and nurturing long-term relationships.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Between 3 to 7 years of experience in civil project estimation, ideally with exposure to US-based projects.
- Strong understanding of US construction codes and familiarity with pricing databases like RSMeans, as well as estimation tools such as Bluebeam and PlanSwift.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for professional interaction with US clients.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and relevant estimation software.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and maintain high attention to detail.
- Experience working in remote or offshore estimation environments is an advantage.

Job Type and Compensation

This is a full-time role requiring in-person attendance. The monthly salary ranges from Rs150,000 to Rs300,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
