Project Manager will develop, lead, monitor and evaluate the assigned SBCC/Social Mobilization project (s), with support from technical managers. Develop lead implementation and ensure adequate monitoring and evaluation for effective management and reporting on project activities in line with objectives, time frame and budget with a focus on nutrition system strengthening, training and coordination.
Project manager is responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. Project manager plans and designates project resources, monitor progress and keep stakeholders informed the entire way.
- Manage SBCC/Social Mobilization project to meet objectives within budget and within allotted time frame and report promptly any operational concerns to Provincial and country project team.
- Plan and execute project activities timely
- Coordinate with project teams, stakeholders, donors and country team for timely execution of project activities.
- Oversight of the Human Resource, Logistics and Program teams, including day-to-day management, development and training, appraisals, etc. It may also be necessary to manage other project staff.
- Ensure that all program teams deliver on-time, within scope and budget
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
- Ensure all the project team members in all the target districts deliver the targets in time
- Manage the budget for the assigned project (s) and ensure all expenses are according to budget and meet the organization standards with regard to financial management, including accountability and transparency.
- Support the logistics activities including fleet management.
- Liaise, as necessary, with logistics HR and finance staff to ensure CRPs and others are paid.
- Participate in discussions with provincial partners, clients and stakeholders.
- Monitor and evaluate project activities, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Supervise and manage project staff, including District Coordinators, Hub Coordinators and support staff.
- Weekly and monthly reporting of the project activities and escalate to management as needed
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
