· Support to plan, design and deliver project activities in accordance with the Project Plan.
· Assists with the preparation of the Project Implementation Plan and other key documents to support the project.
· Manage and facilitate flow of essential project information among project team at national as well as regional level.
· Maintain project calendar and milestones.
· Ensure the availability of the project results to the relevant people, providing feedback to project managers, project teams and other staff as necessary
· Ensure the efficient capture and retrieval of complete and accurate project records
· Prepare the regular reports on the progress of a project against agreed and documented time and budget targets.
· Liaise with Human Resource Department to enable appropriate project resourcing
· Support in ensuring that reporting is complete and checked according to the set quality standards.
· Support in publishing all programmatic data and documentation from selected projects in the Grant Management System (GMS).
· Liaise with the communication team for project success stories.
· Assist in developing project proposals, and conduct necessary research, if needed.
· Assist in developing meeting briefs, and event reports.
· Any other task assigned by the Director Programs.
Requirements
· Masters/Bachelors in Social Sciences, Humanities, Project Management or equivalent.
· At least three (3) years’ experience providing support to medium to large scale projects.
· Proficiency in different project management software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
· Good communications (oral and written) and presentation skills.
· Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
· Ability to work under tight deadlines.
· Excellent people skills.
· A positive attitude, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
