ProSafety Industries is seeking a diligent Quality Control Manager to oversee and enhance quality standards across their apparel and combat sports manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate has a minimum of five years of experience in quality control within apparel or sportswear manufacturing and a strong knowledge of garment construction, stitching techniques, seam quality, finishing standards, and measurement control. This role requires expertise in fabric inspection, including cotton, polyester, and spandex blends, as well as familiarity with technical garments such as sublimation, embroidery, heat transfer, and woven labels. Proficiency in applying AQL inspection standards and experience in conducting inline, end-line, and final inspections are essential. The Quality Control Manager will lead a team of 10 individuals, providing strong leadership and training while implementing corrective and preventive actions to resolve production defects efficiently. This position demands excellent communication skills, the ability to create and enforce quality standard operating procedures and inspection checklists, and a zero-compromise quality mindset. The manager will regularly handle client quality standards, including international expectations, and work in a fast-paced export manufacturing environment, ensuring continuous improvement and waste reduction for ProSafety Industries based in Sialkot.
Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the quality control team to maintain high-quality standards throughout all apparel and combat sports manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of garments at inline, end-line, and final stages to ensure compliance with quality specifications and client requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and inspection checklists specific to quality control processes.
  • Monitor and control garment construction quality, stitching techniques, seam strength, finishing standards, and measurement accuracy.
  • Inspect fabric characteristics such as GSM, shrinkage, colorfastness, pilling, and shade variation to ensure materials meet required standards.
  • Apply AQL inspection standards to evaluate product quality and identify defects at various production stages.
  • Analyze root causes of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to minimize recurrence.
  • Manage quality reporting systems, track performance metrics, and prepare detailed documentation for internal and client audits.
  • Train and mentor production staff and quality control team members on best practices and quality assurance techniques.
  • Coordinate with clients and internal departments to meet international quality standards, export manufacturing requirements, and customer expectations.
  • Supervise waste reduction initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs within the manufacturing process.
  • Stay current with industry trends related to apparel production technologies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure a disciplined, process-driven approach to quality management while maintaining composure and decisive problem solving in high-pressure situations.
