Following is the JD of an Accountant required for our Organization to Provide Accounting, Bookkeeping and compliance service to our US clients
Job Responsibilities of an Accountant
- Perform complex general accounting functions, including preparation of journal entries, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare month end financial reports.
- Prepare, record, and process accounts payable and cash disbursement, and accounts receivable and cash receipts.
- File sales tax reports on monthly or quarterly.
- Manage weekly, bi-weekly and monthly payroll
- Ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately, timely and comply with federal, state and local legal requirements
- Maintain all payroll data and ensure accuracy
- Confirm payroll reconciles where applicable prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports
- Ensure payroll changes such as new hires, terminations, commissions, bonuses, etc. are always recorded correctly within the payroll system
- File payroll tax reports on monthly quarterly.
- Preparation and review of federal and state income tax returns for business and individual clients.
- Research developments in tax law to determine appropriate tax methods and identify tax savings opportunities for the clients
- Perform other related duties as directed or as the situation dictates. (We wear multiple hats at Prudent Accountants)
Education:
- ACCA, CA (Inter/Finalist), CMA or Equivalent
- In-depth understanding of QuickBooks
- Knowledge of US Tax System
- Work Experience:
- 4 to 5 year of relevant experience as a Senior Accountant at medium to large enterprise, with strong accounting background.
- Good communication and interpersonal skill.
- Customer Service focus, able to handle strong relationship within organization and with clients.
- Ability to communicate with clients US confidently
