Major Responsibilities: Implement proactive measures to ensure fault free communication to the valued customers to achieve the availability of transmission system. Improve network restoration time in case of breakdown. Manage & resolve complex System faults and submit report to the SM as & when required. Efficient utilization of available resources and its timely forecast for procurement. Responsible for timely provisioning of network availability specially during the Break downs. To conduct PAT of newly installed MSAG,MSAN,DSLAM,OLT and coordination for installation system/commissioning according to the PTCL standard/requirements. Initiate plans for expansion, up gradation and replacement of ONU,DSLAM, SWITCH system where required . Planning of triffice media diversity to various cities & towns. Assure and optimize network quality by improving the power plant, Switch issue where required. Manage data base of Switching networks. Monitor and evaluate reporting employees through goal setting and objectives To arrange on job training of NMS,MSAG,DSLAM,POWER PLANT staff regarding installation ,troubleshooting & safety of SOFT SWITCH,MSAN System.
