Major Responsibilities:

•Overall Monitoring and Maintenance of Wireless Network and responsible for BSC’s, DRS Network and associated servers/NMS’s in Karachi region.
•Vigilant and 24/7 BTS outage monitoring and supervision of field team for fault resolution and BTS outage reduction.
•Hardware Management of ZTE BTS & BSC’s
•Monitoring and Maintenance of WLL KTR Microwave NE’s
•Handling and rectification of corporate faults.
•Effective Supervision and planning of new projects and coordination with network deployment team and vendor for conducting Pre-acceptance Test of projects
• Maintaining of up to date IP plan sheet of KTR BTS and DRS links.
•Hardware inventory management and coordination with vendor for hardware requirement.
•OPEX management and taking cost saving initiatives by saving fuel and power consumption.
•Environment and Power management of WLL BSC, MSC and other Wireless network nodes installed at WLL Pak Capital.
•Team Lead from Operations in LTE Bandwidth modification from 5 to 10 MHz in Karachi region without vendor support.
•Budget management through identification of operational requirements and preparation of BoQ/estimates.
• Management and alignment of BSC and field shift staff for 24/7 network monitoring
• Tasks assignment to BSC and field teams and annual performance review.
•Collaboration with IP Core, PS Core, RF optimization and EVO back-office teams for the troubleshooting and resolution of various on-going issues.
•Training of Sub-ordinates, appreciating employees on good performance and providing guidance to staff for better work execution.
•Attending meetings with EVP TS and Ufone Officials for overall improvement in wireless network.
