IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
Be responsible for overseeing Microwave Network Topology Planning based on Capacity requirements within available frequency channel resources along with all project associated activities.
HOW CAN YOU EXPRESS YOUR TALENT
- Link Budgeting and Interference Analyses for point-to-point Microwave Links based on PTCL pre-defined KPIs.
- Assistance in RFP/RFQ preparation and technical evaluation of Microwave Network Solution and Design along with Bill of Quantity (BoQ) from the bidders.
- Desktop analyses using Geo data and tools to verify Microwave Links connectivity.
- Initiating Performance Jobs and generate reports using NMS clients of Microwave Links from various vendors.
- Verification of Line of Sight (LOS) survey reports.
- Performing Line of Sight analysis using Geo data tools.
- Participation in Acceptance Testing of Microwave Links and NMS as per requirement.
- Liaison with internal and external customers at required levels to meet Microwave Planning deliverables and to follow up with PMO in an efficient and timely manner.
- Managing database of complete PTCL Microwave Network along with tracking of inventory of various projects.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
1. Qualification
- Professional degree Electrical, Telecom, CS, Software Engineering, from a well reputed institution
2. Experience
- Related experience in the same field will be preferred
3. Competencies
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Excellent interpersonal, counseling, and negotiation skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Excellent leadership skills.
