IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

• The designated officer at position Manager CDS Deployment North will look after the deployment of CDNs nodes in North business regions and Coordinate with RMAs and Physical layer TTS clearance for different CDN vendor. North region has very high concentration of CDN nodes with PTCL global partners due to which availability of technical resource in the field is vital for business continuity and future corporate business growth.

HOW CAN YOU EXPRESS YOUR TALENT

• Technical Project management and coordination for the implementation of CDN deployment Projects in North zone including expansion and new installations

• Plan, organize and support project management for space, power and network connectivity requirements of different CDN nodes in consultation with respective field units.

• Responsible for Integration of CDN Network in North zone with MSC IP core Cloud

• Commissioning and traffic management of CDN Cloud in coordination with Global NOC of CDN Partners

• Expansion and fault management of CDN infrastructure in North zone in Coordination with local PTCL stake holders, Global NOC ops/development CDN partners

• Timely resolution of CDN TTs to provide smooth end user services

• Provide Technical assistance and way forward to the relevant stakeholders

• Monitoring, Testing & Acceptance of completed works for the processing of invoices

• Tracking of running CDN development projects and submitting progress reports to line management

• To formulate Procurement Requirements for the Implementation of CAPEX program

• Execution of site surveys with concern stakeholders

• Preparation of BOQs & SOWs for RFPs for procurement process.

• Responsible to achieve the CDN deployment targets as set by the management

• Liaison with vendor, CDN global partners and internal stakeholder for implementation of assigned tasks

• Monitoring of CDN nodes through dedicated portals and processing TTS on respective portals

• Onsite support and management to resolve the assigned CDN TTs

• Troubleshooting and Configuration of CDN nodes & carry out remedial actions

• Record keeping and tracking of Inventory & installed equipment

• Any other task assigned by line manager

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

1. Qualification

• Professional degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics or Telecommunication) or BCS/MCS from a reputable HEC recognized institute.

2. Experience:

• Must have an experience of 3 - 5 years in the related role

• Candidate with Certification in Project Management will be given preference

• Good communication & team management skills
