• Manager Finance is responsible for financial pre-audit of all type of vouchers and its payment.
  • Ensures that all the operating expenses and payments submitted to Finance for processing are in accordance with the Company's procedures, rules and policies by following Procurement & Finance & accounts manuals and delegation of authority matrix. 
  • Allocates the budget amongst the DDOs based on their requirements, collects & processes request for additional budget requirements. Also prepares expense variance and other budget utilization reports.

Responsibilities: Operating Budget & Funds Allocation

  • Arrangement of monthly ceiling in bank from PTCL HQ and preparation of annual ceiling reconciliation.
  • Preparation of Operation Budget Requirements (BIF) of assigned region and get funds allocation from PTCL.
  • Prepare additional budget requirements based on the information received from regions and on usage pattern.
  • Allocate budget received from PTCL, to different DDOs on the basis of requirement of respective regions.
  • Allocate funds received under Admin Capex to Regions and keep record of budget utilization.
  • Issue financial concurrences to request for funds received from various departments.
  • Transfer of budget to Fund Centers and withdrawal thereof in needed as per approvals of concerned BU Head in Funds Management Module of SAP
  • Maintain master data of SAP FM module i.e. updating funds, fund centers, commitment items, system opening/close, etc.

 Disbursement Activities & Record Maintenance 

  • Responsible for all financial accounts activities of regions attached with DDO.
  • Ensure proper recording of expenses in SAP in relevant GLs, in the same accounting period/month in which expenses incurred and processing the payments of these expenses as per PTCL procedures.
  • Ensure that expenses are booked after pre-audit, as per accounting manual, procurement rules, delegation of authority matrix.
  • Ensure that the Record of all payments processed by DDO office is properly maintained.
  • Facilitate different regions on all the matters relating to Financial issues.
  • Coordinate and prepare different Financial related reports required.
