Need an Accountant for on Offshore Client in USA dealing in e-commerce.
Candidate should be Karachi based and willing to join on full time basis.
Position involves remote working on 5 pm- 2 am. Mondays to Friday full days, Saturdays on need basis, usually during monthly close.
Candidate must have prior exposure of Accounting and Finance with reputable organization.
Job entails the following:
- Do daily bookkeeping of all transactions
- Do weekly bank reconciliations
- Prepare weekly cash flow reports
- Assist Financial Controller in Monthly Closing and Reporting.
- Maintain unit costs of products in ERP and review the COGS during monthly close.
- Liaise with Auditors and provide all required support and documentation.
- File the required income and sales tax returns in applicable US States.
- Participate in on-going SAP implementation.
- Followup for customers with overdue payments.
- Handle miscellaneous tasks assigned by the Financial Controller.
Skills/Competencies
- ACCA Full or Part Qualified (no MBAs or ICMAs)
- 2+ experience in accounting and finance
- Working knowledge of US GAAP
- Prior experience of working in SAP (preferably SAP by design)
- Must be fluent in spoken English as job will require communicating over phone/internet with US team members. banks and auditors
- Can-do positive attitude with eagerness to learn and find solutions.
- Self-starter who performs job with energy and ownership.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle a diverse workload.
Good listening skills
- A flexible person with the ability to adapt to new working conditions.
