Position involves remote working on full time basis- 5 pm- 2 am. Mondays to Friday full days; Saturdays- half day.
Candidate must have prior exposure of logistics and supply chain management with reputable organization.
Job entails the following:
· Oversee and manage overall supply chain and logistics operations to maximize efficiency and minimize cost of organization's supply chain.
· Daily maintenance of the company’s inventory system.
· Accurately forecast inventory requirements
· Control Stock to ensure product availability always at required levels, maintaining no stock outs.
· Place purchase orders with Vendors after negotiating most beneficial terms.
· Follow up with Vendors for delivery and Tracking containers until final point of delivery.
· Review freight expense and vendor shipping patterns to identify opportunities to reduce freight cost.
· Work closely with accounting to ensure accurate recording of bills, prompt payment to vendors and timely recognition of inventory in ledger.
· Other supply chain, procurement and logistics matters, as informed by management.
Skills/Competencies
· BBA/MBA in Business Administration.
· 2+ experience in supply chain and logistics operations
· Must be fluent in spoken English as job will require communicating over phone with US Vendors
· Can-do positive attitude with eagerness to learn and find solutions.
· Self-starter who performs job with energy and ownership.
· Excellent Organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to handle a diverse workload.
