Key Responsibilities
- Generate, review, and dispatch invoices to the customers
- Ensure invoices are aligned with contractual terms and applicable trade promotions.
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable balances, ensuring timely payment collection.
- Regularly follow up with clients to resolve payment delays or disputes.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure that trade discounts, rebates, and credit terms are accurately applied.
- Keep track of customer credit limits and flag any risks of overdue accounts.
- Maintain up-to-date records of payments, outstanding balances, and correspondence.
- Reconcile accounts to ensure alignment between sales, delivery, and financial records.
- Serve as the point of contact for distributors and retailers on invoicing and payment queries.
- Ensure clear and professional communication to maintain strong customer relationships
- Prepare weekly and monthly aging reports
- Provide actionable insights to the finance and sales teams to address collection challenges
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies regarding invoicing and collections.
Coordinate with supply chain, sales, and warehouse teams to address delivery-related disputes affecting payments.
- Required:MCom. MBA, BS Accounting & Finance, CMA Finalist.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, preferably within the FMCG industry.
- Experience with financial systems and ERP platforms
- Strong command of MS Excel and reporting tools.
- Understanding of trade agreements and credit management.
