PureLogics Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a qualified DevOps Engineer. The successful candidate will have expertise and experience in setup, maintenance, and configuration of third party cloud services such as AWS or OpenStack. This includes elastic dynamic hosting solutions as well as core tech services like storage, database, queuing, analytics, monitoring, networking, security, and deployment.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain dynamic hosting environment based on cloud application solutions
- Accurately estimates his/her schedules and delivers high quality work products to that schedule
- Architect and deploy configuration strategy
- Promote availability and stability in a 24/7 High Availability environment
- Profiling performance and capacity planning of critical systems
- Perform security scans and contribute to stakeholders responsible for security and risk assessments
- Respond to alerts and quickly triage problems and work with the team to resolve issues.
- Design and implementation of projects and improvements
- Ability to prioritize your own work and recognise items that need to be worked on.
Desired Experience & Qualities:
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
- 2+ Years experience in performing DevOps operations
- 2+ Years scripting, bash, PowerShell or others
- Experience with Amazon web services is must.
- Aws certification will be a big plus.
- Previous experience building distributed applications in a cloud environment
- Expertise in Unix/Linux/Windows Operating systems
- Expertise using configuration management solutions (Salt, Puppet, Chef, Ansible)
- Experience using source control for code management (Git, Perforce, SVN, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal skills and problem solving ability
- Experience with AWS, Aurora or RDS
- Experience with Jenkins and/or TeamCity
- VPC and Network Design
- CloudFormation
- Autoscaling
- Experience with AWS, Aurora or RDS
- Experience with Python and Bash
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD)
- Experience with Docker, SQL, NodeJS
