QA Engineer

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be essential in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products by designing and executing testing procedures, identifying defects, and working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities, a proactive approach, and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts to validate software functionality.
- Perform both manual and automated testing to assess functionality, performance, and reliability of applications.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking tools, ensuring clear communication of issues.
- Collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to uphold quality standards and resolve defects.
- Analyze test results to identify trends and recommend improvements to QA processes and methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Stay current with emerging QA trends, tools, and best practices to continuously enhance testing effectiveness.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance roles.
- Proficiency with QA tools such as Selenium, JIRA, and Postman.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and propose effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
