KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Qatar Charity (QC) is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual for the position of Field Supervisor for the successful and timely implementation of Social Protection program as per set targets and plans.QC is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.   • Represent QC in the assigned area/district and manage local Social Protection Program activities effectively in all its entirety. Doing so, manage external relations by representing QC and ensuring the dissemination of information about QC activities.
  • Act as the focal person to provide assistance to Orphan children; conduct regular field-level activities i.e., identification of Orphan cases, data collection, undertaking assessment and submission of new cases for sponsorship/support, maintaining physical records and updates on online database etc.
  • Continuously maintain QC’s online database as one of the core responsibilities i.e., making entries, documentation uploading, follow up of cases etc
  • Working in a small office with limited resources; mobilize the available/allocated resources within the available time limit for maximum results by allocating and distributing them properly across all activities in line with the guidance provided by his/her line manager.
  • Support the families of the identified/sponsored children in preparing required legal and financial documents where applicable (written and verbal) from NADRA/Banks/schools etc.
  • Regularly provide personal history reports/case studies, annual Reports, special Reports, Payment Tracking of the sponsored beneficiaries (children, families and other) and make recommendations 
  • Ensure efficient and effective coordination and cooperation with all stakeholders in the assigned area/district particularly with the Government authorities.
  • Ensure minimum legal and compliance standards and guidelines are being followed in QC and child’s best Interest. Oversee and provide systematically top-quality analysis and substantive inputs to QC’s Program work. Advise QC management on specific regulations implemented by the Authorities (in District) that could impact the ability to implement activities and/or impact the speed of implementation.
  • Provide regular programmatic support by conducting field visits (including those at the specific request of Programme Teams) to supported children to monitor, guide, completing compliance requirements, and implementing other activities.
  • Regularly undertake program-related activities when and as advised by the supervisor i.e., finding new registration venues, arranging reports and pictures of the children/families.
  • Assist and coordinate and arrange trainings for the character-building of children, arrange and manage recreational events and create exposure opportunities for the children and their families.
  • Immediately respond to reports of abuse and neglect and provide support services. Conduct investigations into reports of abuse (i.e., violation of sponsorship agreement).
  • Develop and implement annual, quarterly and monthly case plans including reviews and evaluations. This will also include arrangements of any related events, coordination with concerned government departments and other fellow organization.
  • Adhere to and act in accordance with the QC’s HR policies and procedures, and communicates through word and example a high standard of compliance with all applicable policies and regulations.
