Job Description

  • Successfully contribute towards implementation of the Country Strategy within Pakistan.
  • Establish the field office in an emergent, efficient and effective manner.
  • Develop detailed emergency Project Implementation Plan (PIP) in consultation with the Country Office.
  • Initiate the Rapid Need Assessment within the first week of the project initiation in the project area. 
  • Liaise with local/government authorities and participate in meetings and assemblies initiated by local government, NGOs, other stakeholders and communities.
  • Facilitate the Research, Monitoring and Evaluation (DME) quality of projects.
  • Oversee coordination between program staff, support departments and technical sectors
  • Periodically review of the DIP to monitor operational and programming activities.
  • Understand the financial aspect of the operations to ensure responsible spending and utilization of resources.
  • Oversee and ensure a thorough and fair process for the assessment of current and potential future implementing partners, including creation of assessment tools (with support from Finance and HR departments), on-site assessment visits...
  • Oversee and ensure the provision of high-quality technical support and capacity building to staff.
  • Maintain strong and respectful working relations with implementing partners (CBOs) that embody a solid, fair, and balanced approach to partnership.
  • Support implementing partners in the transition process at the end of project implementation, ensuring sustainability of project outcomes.
  • Ensure that recruitment of staff follow HR recruitment policies and guidelines.
  • Maintain a positive working relation with the staff by demonstrating consistent and effective management and leadership roles.
  • Facilitate the team in identifying the strategic issues in terms of the area of operations.
  • Technically back stopping the project officers/SOs in the implementation and engagement of community and government officer
