Job Overview
We are looking to hire an experience Accountant to join our finance department
Responsibilities for Finance Manager
- Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company (payroll, invoicing, and other transactions)
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting
- Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior company leadership
- Support project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc requests
- Manage the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems
- Secures financial information by completing data base backups.
- Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
- Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
- Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy
- nd regulations.
- Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account
- information and trends.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Proven experience of banking relationship. Liaise with Micro finance banking sectors in terms
- of investment, crediting and other facilities.
- Experience with commercial, residential and hospitality Real Estate entities strongly preferred
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
Qualifications for Finance Manager
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA a plus
- 3-4 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis
- Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information
- Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools such as SQL, Access, etc.
- Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
