Qazi & Sons Group Of Companies is seeking an experienced Purchaser with a strong background in Supplier Relationship Management, Purchase Order Processing, Vendor Evaluation, and Supply Chain Coordination. The successful candidate will play a critical role in sourcing and acquiring goods and services that meet company standards and cost requirements. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement and is ideal for a professional who is detail-oriented and skilled at negotiating and maintaining vendor relations.
The Purchaser will be responsible for managing the entire procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of products while maintaining quality standards. Although this role does not involve managing a team, the Purchaser must collaborate closely with other departments and external vendors to support the company's operational goals. Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure reliable supply and favorable terms.
- Evaluate and select vendors based on price, quality, delivery, and service to meet company standards.
- Process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner following established procedures.
- Coordinate with supply chain and inventory management teams to align purchasing activities with operational requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve supply-related issues to minimize disruption to production.
- Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier contracts for audit and compliance purposes.
- Collaborate with finance to ensure that procurement activities stay within budget and approval limits.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing needs and provide timely updates.
- Assist in developing procurement strategies aligned with company objectives and procurement best practices.
