About Role
We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer to join our friendly and hardworking environment. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, enthusiastic with a positive attitude; dedication and willingness to work smart, sometimes under high production pressure. This is a full time on-premises position.
WordPress Developer Responsibilities
- Meeting with clients to discuss website design and function.
- Designing and building the website front-end.
- Creating the website architecture.
- Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
- Generating WordPress themes and plugins.
- Conducting website performance tests.
- Troubleshooting content issues.
- Conducting WordPress training with the client.
- Monitoring the performance of the live website.
Hands on Experience in
- Custom WordPress themes development
- Hooks, Filters, Actions, Plugin API, Short codes
- HTML, CSS3, Bootstrap 4.x, JavaScript
- PHP 7, MySQL, Custom Taxonomies & Posts
Preferred
- Custom WordPress plugins development
Qualification & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
- Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
- Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, and SVN.
- Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
- Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
- Ability to project manage.
