- Approving of airport expenses in “abnormalities” while shipment handling at airport.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Airport and Transport Areas
Key Results Areas:
- Maximum Profitability in Transport with cash reserves in company account.
- Efficient working environment with total transparency and accountability of airport staff.
Airport
- Bring a smooth operation system in the airport work flow.
- Bring down the airport expenses to the lowest possible end without hurting the shipment clearances and handovers to airline.
- Maintain roster with maximum output of airport staff.
- Follow the “systems” being introduced by office for total transparency and accountability of airport staff.
- Create an efficient work environment with Customs/Airlines/GHAs/Agents at airport.
- Ensure all shipments are handled under Company Policy and SNS Requirements.
Transport
- Maximum utilization of own trucks to increase company’s profitibility.
- Proper maintenance of working hours of drivers.
- Keep trucks in good working conditions to ensure drivers safety and Company Goodwill.
- Bargain competitive rates from transporters when outside trucks are used.
- Keep the maintenance cost to the minimum ensuring maximum profitability.
- Keep due diligence on leakages.
- Ensure maximum utilization of fuel and oil usage.
- Keep a total transparency on internal and external billings.
- Maintenance of log books with insertion of truck maintenance.
- Timely placement of trucks and updation to customers on truck status.
- Avoid over timings / detentions wherever possible.
