Responsibilities/Job Role
- Hands-on development: analyse product specifications, design implementations, write code and rapidly deliver server side applications
- Contribute technical ideas and suggestions to enhance the direction of the product
- Recognise UI/UX deficiencies and highlight and implement effective solutions
- Write test cases and Work within an agile team
- Maintain build systems and write unit tests
- Review analytics and performance metrics to draw conclusions and drive change
Key skills and experience
- Product-focused .Net based application development experience; web applications and web APIs
- Impressive portfolio of consumer facing high-performance Server applications available in the Marketplace
- Adavnced C#.Net, ASP.Net and ASP.Net MVC application development
- Experience in implementing Web UI Frameworks and libraries like Bootstrap, Javascript UI framework, JQuery, Angular.JS, Node.JS
- Strong knowledge of developing RESTFul web services
- Fluent in Server & API security technologies
- Experience in implementing OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect based user authentication and authorization services
- Experienced in integrating federated user authentication systems with own application servers. For example, Facebook, Google+, Twitter and Git authentication services
- Well aware of responsive web UI design patterns
- Experienced in developing multithreaded applications.
- Experience of implementing Windows services
- Good understanding of design patterns & Object Orientated Programming
- Sound computer science foundations: algorithms, data structures, concurrency and threading
- Strong in software engineering, including design, architecture, test automation, deployment automation
- Version control such as Git, SVN
