Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
- Installing different OS platform such as Linux, Ubuntu, and Microsoft windows
- Monitor and analyze electrical systems and ensuring electrical safety standards are met.
- Troubleshooting of LAN and WLAN issues.
- Perform cable management and dressing of IT Rack
- Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting.
- Establishing good relationships with all departments and Users.
- Collaborate with other teams and engineers to determine the best placement of electrical/Ethernet wiring and equipment.
- Repair broken equipment and wiring/circuit
- Perform maintenance of electrical/computer/networking systems
- Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed
- Perform general electrical maintenance.
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
- Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Provide preliminary sketches and cost estimates for materials and services.
Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate or Diploma in Electronic/Electrical/Computer Science or relevant field
- Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft, IT Professional)
- 2+ years’ experience in electronic/computer systems and maintenance.
- Proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- In depth understanding of diverse Electrical systems and networking system
- Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
