Requirements:
- 3-5+ years’ experience with AWS
- AWS stack: ECS Fargate, ECR, EC2, Cloud Watch, IAM, S3, ELB, Route 53, Secrets Manager, ACM, SSM, RDS, SSO, KMS, VPC, Auto scaling
- Terraform - Experience of at least one year with Terraform
- Experience as a SRE/Cloud Engineer/DevOps Engineer
- Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- IaC experience working with either (Cloud formation or Terraform)
- Experience working with containerization technologies (Docker or K8’s)
- Sysadmin - Experience working on Linux based infrastructure and good knowledge of Linux, Windows and CentOS
- Docker - Strong knowledge on containerizing & clustering
- Version Control Systems - Solid knowledge and at least 3 years of experience using Git; Bitbucket is a plus
- CI/CD Implementation
- Open Source and NoSQL databases
- Jenkins or AWS Pipelines is a plus
- Monitoring Tools - Experience using Cloud Watch or X-Ray
- Networking Concepts - Understanding of VPC, Firewalls, VPNs, Subnet ting, NAT Gateways, High Availability, DNS
Responsibilities:
- Assist development teams in deployments
- Troubleshoot delivery failures and application outages
- Modify current CI/CD pipelines (adding or changing environmental variables, testing steps, or build steps, etc.)
- Documentation of current processes and updating documentation with process changes
- Automate processes to reduce time to deployment or increase efficiency
- Analyze problem areas via logs and monitoring metrics to improve server and application performance
- Work directly with our engineering and DevOps teams to identify automation opportunities
- Develop, design, and configure systems that automate our software testing and deployment processes
- Ensure that our production systems are safe and secure against security threats
