About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer who has previously worked as a Design Engineer. The ideal candidate will be starting at concept creation, then moving throughout the whole design process, launches the product and develops the documentation for it. Our hardware design engineers are an integral part of the entire process, especially involved in the system design, bring-up, and test/validation cycles of the project.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Proven record of bringing up design from concept to production/delivery.
- Working with embedded systems, processor selection, various communication protocols and programming.
- Working with Serial communication protocols for control and automation systems.
- Electromechanical and Electromagnetic systems calculation, simulation, designing and development.
- Microcontroller selection, Programming, and implementation.
- Reverse engineering of circuits and troubleshooting of circuits and PCBs.
- Occasional maintenance of machinery in lab and office.
- Must have hands on experience of team mentorship, team lead, team management.
- Handle the entire development cycle – architecture, PCB design, development, prototyping and deployment.
- Experience in system power design for low power, high-efficiency systems.
- Have a responsibility to design high efficiency circuits and program logics to develop low cost and efficient power and control systems.
- Create detailed, accurate technical data packages; work with support personnel to create block diagrams, component specifications, bills of material, etc.
- Use computer aided design and analysis techniques as inherent activities of development.
- Conduct and participate in internal peer and design reviews for performance, manufacturability, and serviceability with cross-functional project teams, and coordinate with outside vendors.
- Assisting in local procurement and import of project related items.
- Provide support for all stages of the product development lifecycle: Conceptualization, R&D, Manufacturing, and post launch support.
- Interact with suppliers for DFM feedback, part quoting, negociation and procurement.
- Miscellaneous task related to job assigned by the management.

- Expert in Proteus, Altium, Arduino, Circuit Design, and PCB Design.
- Expert in rapid prototyping and design analysis.
- PLC programming using Ladder Logic.
- C++ programming, Python programming.
