We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our growing team at RCAPPS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with the design, deployment, and maintenance of a full stack Kubernetes environment, running on Google Cloud. The candidate will also be providing input in developing a DevOps culture, ensuring strong cross functional collaboration with all areas of development. Previous experience of working on large scale products is a definite plus.
Skills and Requirements
- Design, develop, and support scalable, redundant infrastructure which may include both physical and virtualized environments.
- Maintain and develop Docker images for various application components running in Google Cloud on Kubernetes.
- Improve existing infrastructure to incorporate latest technology best practices and cross application integrations.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and solve complex Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps challenges.
- Should be able to guide customers on how to configure and deploy their Google Cloud infrastructure consisting of identity and access management, network architecture, application security, logging, monitoring, billing and more.
- Architecting and automating the build process for production, using task runners or scripts.
- Hands on experience on Google Cloud Platform.
- Hands on experience on different CI/CD technologies preferred.
- A keen interest in emerging technologies and how they might impact future design decisions and strategic direction.
