We're looking for a Full Stack Developer - Python to join our growing team at RCAPPS. The ideal candidate will be able to carry out new product development from conception to implementation, high-quality and high-volume programming, while displaying a keen eye for quality assurance and code maintenance.
- 4+ years of python development experience with evidence of exceptional ability.
- Experience with frameworks such as Django
- Well versed in NoSQL, MongoDB.
- Must be familiar with AWS, Azure and GCP
- Experience with front-end languages (JavaScript, HTML5, Bootstrap).
- Write high quality, server-side code (the position will use Python, but experience in similar languages like JavaScript/Node.js will be an added advantage).
- Thoughtfully design forward-thinking, scalable, and performant data architectures.
- Have used both SQL and NoSQL databases, and understand the benefits and shortcomings of each.
- Experience building RESTful APIs.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools.
- Flexible thinker - Don’t get too attached to a particular solution—things change quickly around here.
- Detail oriented - Whole is the sum of the parts.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
