Responsibilities
- Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
- Produce detailed specifications
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Requirements:
- 3+ years of mobile development experience with evidence of exceptional ability.
- Expert level proficiency in Objective C and Cocoa Touch.
- Experience working with UIKit, AFNetworking, Core Data, Storyboards, Autolayouts, Push Notification, Core Graphics.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Fluency in Swift will be a definite advantage.
- Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred.
- Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools, such as Instruments.
- Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.
General:
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services.
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools.
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
- Flexible thinker - Don’t get too attached to a particular solution—things change quickly around here.
- Detail oriented - Whole is the sum of the parts.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
