Job Description:
We are urgently looking for an experienced Digital Advertising Specialist professional for our Canadian-based Client. The ideal candidate must have at least 2-3 years of experience in paid search marketing. The candidate should also be results-driven, ambitious, organized, articulate, and a self-starter. The specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, launching and monitoring paid search campaigns.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Monitor and report the performance of AdWords campaigns
Effectively manage budgets throughout the month
Manage and optimize campaigns utilizing best practices
Collaborate with the Client on research and strategy
Assist team members with questions, tasks, and training as needed
Attend and contribute during client calls as required
Maintain your expertise, educating the client about changes in the industry and how to capitalize on those developments
Your focus will include keyword/target research, PPC, retargeting, display network advertising, bid strategies including ECPC/CPA, etc.
Analyze the effectiveness of ad copy variation testing and landing page strategies
Conduct an extensive audience, keywords, placement, and platform research to help inform paid media strategies
Take an active role in developing digital strategies for a client that support their overall digital marketing program
Other Required Skills and Background
Current Google AdWords Certification
Working knowledge of Google Analytics
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Intricate knowledge of paid advertising best practices
Ability to generate specific KPI’s and report on them
Familiarity with Digital Advertising tools such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, AWR Cloud, etc.
Familiarity with basic HTML and CSS
Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
