- Planning and monitoring the security arrangements for the protection of the network systems.
- Identifying, monitoring, and defining the requirements of the overall security of the system.
- Configuring and implementing intrusion detection systems and firewalls.
- Will be responsible for troubleshooting network, voice and other systems in order to restore service.

- Knowledge of enterprise-class IP based telecommunication systems and associated technologies including VoIP, Asterisk, Cisco, carrier circuits including PRI and SIP, and other related technologies.
- Monitor and maintain the operation of wide telecommunication systems
- Responsible for end user hardware troubleshooting, monitoring and maintenance.
- Diagnoses, troubleshoots, installs and configures End User Computing devices, peripheral equipment, network hardware, and software both remotely and onsite.
- Networks wiring (Installing new drops, evaluating network runs, etc.).
- Analyze and evaluate network performance and provide solutions to optimize traffic flows, security, and processes.
- Creates and maintains network support and implementation handoff documentation to the Helpdesk.
- Completes assigned tasks and projects in a self-directed manner.
- Provide back-up support to other team members as needed.
