International Production & Operations Manager (Onsite Job in Sialkot)

Recruit AI is seeking an experienced International Production & Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate production activities across multiple manufacturing facilities located in Sialkot, Pakistan. This full-time onsite role requires a candidate with a minimum of 7 years of professional experience in manufacturing and production management. The successful candidate will play a critical liaison role between the United States headquarters, factory leadership, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth communication, efficient production planning, timely deliveries, and strong operational performance. The role demands a strong technical background, preferably a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering combined with an MBA, to effectively manage complex manufacturing and supply operations. The International Production & Operations Manager will be responsible for daily oversight of production schedules, capacity, lead times, and quality standards, aligning production activities with customer requirements and business goals. The role involves coordinating with various departments such as Quality, Supply Chain, and Vendor Management, identifying and resolving production bottlenecks, and implementing process improvements to optimize efficiency. The manager will monitor key performance indicators, support inventory control, and provide regular updates to U.S. headquarters while ensuring compliance with product specifications and operational standards. Although this position does not entail managing a team, it requires outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills to work closely with diverse international teams across different time zones.
Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities and ensure smooth operations across multiple manufacturing facilities.
• Monitor and adjust production schedules, production output, capacity, lead times, and delivery commitments to meet business objectives.
• Serve as the primary liaison between U.S. headquarters, factory leadership, production teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate and collaborate effectively with Quality, Supply Chain, and Vendor Management departments to resolve production and delivery issues.
• Review production priorities regularly and adjust schedules proactively according to changing production requirements and customer demands.
• Identify and address production delays, capacity constraints, bottlenecks, and operational risks to minimize disruptions.
• Develop and execute recovery plans for delayed or overdue orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain accountability for production quality standards, timelines, and overall performance.
• Monitor key performance indicators including on-time delivery rates, production output, backlog status, lead times, and capacity utilization.
• Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Support inventory planning and inventory control efforts to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to resolve issues related to production materials, scheduling, and logistics.
• Work closely with Quality and Supply Chain teams to ensure compliance with all relevant product specifications and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with factory management, suppliers, and internal teams to foster reliable communication and collaboration.
• Provide periodic production and supply updates to U.S. headquarters, highlighting performance metrics, risks, and improvement initiatives.
• Support continuous improvement projects that aim to increase productivity and streamline manufacturing and supply chain processes.
• Coordinate work schedules and communication across different international time zones to ensure seamless operations.
